Get ready for RADAR-base Management Portal 2.0

The RADAR-base community built the Management Portal to manage remote patient monitoring studies. The Management Portal has been designed to easily manage users, studies, study participants, and data sources. The Management Portal also allows researchers to handle authentication and authorization of entities with the help of role-based access control (RBAC).

The Hyve is excited to announce that our team of Software Engineers has improved this application and will soon release the Management Portal 2.0, an upgraded version of the Management Portal. One of the highlights of this new version is the implementation of advanced filters of study participants, a feature that was highly sought after by researchers and study managers.

Other interesting changes include improvements to the UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) and introducing a new level of data hierarchy: organizations. This means that projects that were previously independent can now be grouped per organization to make collaboration easier, irrespective of how many parties use the same RADAR-base instance. This grouping also allows for managing multiple projects within the organization and delegating organization and project-related tasks to the organization-specific roles.

At the moment, our team is finalizing the implementation, testing and documentation of the new Management Portal. Curious to know more about the added and improved features? We will be sharing more details of the newly implemented features in blogs over the coming weeks. So stay tuned to learn more about how to use:

  1. Implementation of organizations - In the new improved version each project belongs to an organization.

  2. Concept of groups and assigning of groups to study participants.

  3. Advanced filtering capabilities of study participants - For finding study participants with names, external identifiers, groups, etc.

We are confident that end-users will find the RADAR-base Management Portal 2.0 better and easier to use for their study management processes. The Hyve has been providing services to develop, extend and improve features since the beginning of the RADAR-base platform. For inquiries on RADAR-base and our services, feel free to contact us.
