Azadeh Tafreshiha

Azadeh studied cell and molecular biology but later became interested in studying the brain, so after her MSc degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, she obtained her doctorate degree in neurosciences at VU Amsterdam, where she studied vision in mice. After a long career in academic research, Azadeh found that she feels most passionate about working in a team as a project manager. She is keenly interested in facilitating collaborative research to open new horizons in health care through open science. At The Hyve she is able to combine both her interests in her career. Outside of work Azadeh spends a lot of time playing with her daughter, reading and learning random new things.
