Hernando Suarez

Hernando is a bioinformatician with a Ph.D. from Wageningen University, where his thesis mainly revolved around multi-omic integration and pipeline development for specialized metabolic pathway predictions in plants. Afterward, he joined a a food and health research company, where he modernized and updated the computational part of their operations and learned a lot about the industry side of research. Now he has joined the Real World Data team at The Hyve as a Data Engineer. Beyond biology and programming, Hernando’s scholarly pursuits mainly involve playing video games and undecidedly scrolling through Netflix.
