Julia Kurps

Before joining The Hyve, Julia obtained her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the Vrije University, Amsterdam, where she studied exocytosis in neuroendocrine cells. Since 2020, Julia has been the Team Lead for The Hyve's Real World Data (RWD) team, focusing on streamlining the teams' work around RADAR-base and OMOP/OHDSI. Important aspects of her role are the implementation of processes, alignment of expectations and tasks of different functions, and ensuring the personal growth of team members. Besides work, Julia enjoys long walks at the beautiful Dutch beaches, the pleasure of gardening, and an excellent old-fashioned criminal story from Agatha Christie.
