Sowmiyaa Senthil Kumar

Sowmiyaa did her Bachelor' in Biotechnology at the Vellore Institute of Technology, India, and is now doing her Master's in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the UvA/VU, Amsterdam. She is interested in bioinformatics tool development to bridge the gap between wet-lab and "dry-lab" scientists in the field of biology. She is now interning at The Hyve to work on rebuilding the data validator for cBioPortal.

Some of her hobbies include discovering cozy places in the city, reading (lots of reading), and doing yoga.
